A question from harald's tech weekend...

i can't remember what the contraption was that i used to suck up fluid from the bottles and pump it into my diffs and T-case. It was a hose clamped onto something like a grease gun... i'm looking to make a replica... it sure was handy... and the size was nice and compact.

thanks ahead of time...

There are actual tools available to do that. The one I have looks exactly like a grease gun without the side pump handle.

I call it a suction gun. An auto supply or industrial supply should have them in the grease gun area. If you have trouble finding one I can get you one locally. They are under $10.00.

Eric, the one we were using I got at West Marine, for sucking out crankcase oil on marine engines, $10 ish sounds right.

Kragen has a crappy one that you have to hold together with tape at the connection of the pump and hoses.
$8

BTW, I got a mtn bike, so let me know and we can ride now up here!
