2002 G500 drivers seat switch

I have had my 02 G500 in for service 3 times because my seat moves only forward. It moves forward if the switch is moved forward and forward if the switch is moved backwards. Has anyone had this problem and what was the fix? The dealer has supposedly replaced the switch. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
David Porter

I just went through the same thing on my passenger seat. They finally replaced the "module" that controls the switch - seemed to have worked.

Mine was doing the same thing. I took it in for the fix and now the seat goes back just fine but the headrest goes up when ever the seat goes back. You would think they would test it out before sending it home.

They replaced my switch the first time also, it worked for 4 days then died again. The module seemed to be the last fix

I would have rather had non moterizes seats on my 02. I just bought my wife a C240 and it does not have motorized seats and I love it. I wish it didn't have a sun roof or a CD changer either, but it does.
