vsatinsky, there is no reason you can't keep Vista intact, and use another program only to download the manual.

right click. and click around for a bar tha says version. click the check box and set it to windows 2000.

Has anyone hear from the OP?

I was able to get an old service manual to work in Vista in compatibility mode.
I have a W124 & W201 DVD that might work for his application. PIF file included.
