Sweet. Did you replace it w/ the EURO lighter/shorter bumpers? If so, I actually would like to change to the EURO bumpers as well. Know any ideas where I can get them for cheaps?

W-123 Bumpers , U.S.& Euro.
Interesting ~ it's pitted in exactly the same place as the front bumper on my '80 Diesel Coupe....
As far as cheap Euro bumpers , Pick-A-Part gets them all the time but you gotta go there often as they go FASTFASFAST .
I was walking past this 300TD (Diesel wagon) for a month or so at my favorite yard , finally my brother stops at it last week and says ' look ~ the engine is completely stripped of manifolds, turbo etc. , you can get me the starter easily' ~ so I did and as I was finshing up , I realized the car had a EUROPEAN BUMPER on it ! so that's mine now too , only $25.00
Sadly , I missed the chance to get the rear bumper by stupidly not noticing it

I actually replaced it with the same american bumper with better chrome from the junkyard..I would love to put some euros on but didn't want to deal with it..Im sure they'd cost an arm & a leg compared to a us model..But if any of you guys have any source for them euro bumpers for reasonable cost..LET ME KNOW...thanks
vwnate1 - Thanks for the heads up! The local junkyards, you pick you pull and pickapart, are actually close by my area. I'm SoCal as well. By the way, what's your "favorite" yard?

about junkyards...I've actually just gone to one, in Stanton/Anaheim area in Calif :Ecology Pick a Part on Beach blvd. Its the only one I go to and the only one i'm really familiar with..you get lucky there sometimes..been goin there since I was a little kid with my Uncles..
But If anybody in cali knows any other good Junkyards to find parts..DO LET ME KNOW..Thank you!

especially where the bumper shocks meet the bumper, there's a design change so it probably won't fit all w123's.
