I just bought my 93 300se, and it appears that the heated seats just do not work. When I press the button it lights up both lights and after 5mins one light remains but there's no heat coming out. Any idea what the problem might be????

Its P# Number is A 140 832 17 94 which is number 125 in the (Heating Water Connection) Diagram, i didnt find that part in any local sellers, so i had to buy it from the dealer, and it was not in stock, so he ordered it for me, and it came in 7 days, they asked for 180 AE Dirhams, (50 $).

I will let the Pictures speak, and it took me 1 Hour and 15 minutes, i am sure i am still a newbie, but it was very tough for me to change the first hose in my life :)

BTW - i got a small injury in my finger :) loool and guess what, i found a use of my medication box.

My rear window had a crack in it and I'm replacing it. I got the glass, not a problem, but the 12 special spacers that the glass rests on apparently is proprietary to the 140-body styles. And those spacers aren't readily available.

I have run into a 1992 300SEL with 21K original miles. Low mileage older cars sometimes can become a money pit and I am looking for a little support whether to go for it or pass. This car is a one owner, always garage kept, and without any doubt is true to description. Original owner passed and his son's have the car. Owner even put new tires on a couple of years ago just because he was concerned about the age of the original tires. All service records although only for check ups etc. Car is smoke silver with palamino interior. This car is absolutely like new. I had a 94 S500 for 7 years and loved it. Just got a little beat up and 150K when I sold it. Nothing at all funny about this car. It is all there and about as perfect as you could imagine. The son's have done a bit of research and feel the car is worth about $9200 OBO. Has been inspected by original dealer with a perfect score. My gutt feeling is the car is worth something in the $7K range. It is an 18 year old car. Before I make an offer I would have it inspected by an indie. Any advise or words of wisdom? They are in exceptional condition, but they just remind me of Casper the... I finally got sick and tired of looking at those AMG wheels on my coupe.
They are in exceptional condition, but they just remind me of Casper the Ghost and I figured that they don't belong on that car.

Last month at a garage sale I was fortunate enough to find the OEM wheels with new Nokian All Weather (235/60/16) tires mounted and balanced for less than $100.00. There was quite a bit of peeling on the wheels, but I figured what the hell. I did some sanding, painting and ended up with a presentable, but half-ass fix on the wheels. The wheels came without caps, but I had a set stashed away.

The car ('95 S500 Coupe blk/blk) now looks like it should and when I took it out for a drive on the freeway I felt a clear difference in handling, braking and turning from the previous AMG wheels and Michelins.

Everybody has an opinion about wheels. Some say I should go to 17" + wheels on that heavy car, but I figure that Mercedes engineers knew what they were doing, so my preference is to keep the car original.

Anybody in the market for a set of exceptional AMG 5 pillar wheels with 235/60/16 Michelins? The front tires are well above the wear bar, the rear ones are coming close to the wear bar.

just called several dealerships and all the parts dept's tell me mercedes is no longer selling just wiper blade inserts, and you have to basically buy the entire wiper blade arm to replace. cost for that is $150 for the pair.

if anyone is using an aftermarket replacement, please list the part number and where you got it from so i can pick up a set before the rainy season starts.

Looks like lots of work done already and the car looks good.
Has a body kit, front and back, Brabus or some other, not sure.
Will need a grill and front bumper repainted. Nice AMG rims would make it look great, price is nice too.
One big problems, the AC doesn't work, and its hard to tell if its the evaporator or not. Seller looks like a nice person describing the condition and things done to it.
