Sorry for the short notice, but I wanted to let you all know that Santa Monica Sports Car Club's monthly First Friday Niter road rally is tomorrow night. This month, we've got some special stuff on tap for first-time rallyists, including:
-A worksheet to help you figure out "rally math"
-Special timekeeping instruction at the beginners' meeting
-No traps to throw you off-time or off-course
We're starting in Mission Hills, going to Santa Clarita, and then east to La Canada. The course will be a mix of urban and mountain roads, and should be fun to drive. No special equipment required; just bring your registration and proof of insurance, a navigator, and $18 for entry fees, and you're good to go. (You might want to bring pens, a calculator, a watch you can synchronize with official rally time, and a flashlight too. Also, if you want to use GPS, that's cool with us!)

Any questions? Post 'em here or PM me.
Hope to see you there!
