I'll agree with that except what happened at Bimmerfest two weekends ago. I used to own an M3 and know what it's like at their meets. At least they have respect for other models within the BMW family unlike what we've seen here with other Benz owners talking down about C-Classes. Can't say the same regarding what most of them think of other makes such as AMG/MB though.

Hey, BTW, Batou: I'll trade you my "cheap" curbed rear wheel and half of my CF lip for your car. I think it's a fair deal. You can keep your Azeni's too.

NO. did you hear about the actual fistfight that occurred during bimmerfest? yeeeeeeeah, I rest my case. this goes on in every forum and yes while I agree it shouldn't happen with us, you are in no position to be talking the entire line that you've been talking... it was a "misunderstanding" b/c you took it to a whole other level with the insults and shit talk.

to be honest, I saw your car on colorado parked in front of villa sorriso in pasadena a few weeks ago and I thought it was pretty cool. but after hearing you talk and your attitude, I can tell you that it was certainly not the type of awesome OMFG car that everyone will bow down to (and it's clear that you want everyone to) and one that gives you the right to talk trash about other people's rides.

furthermore, how many times have you said that you're "done" with this thread? yet you keep on posting. although you don't have a shred of respect or credibility left with almost everyone, you should still quit before you dig yourself in even more.
Relax, tone yourself down. YES I HAVE HAD 3 BMW's , 2 of them were 7 series, and I used to be on BMW boards. How do you know why a fight broke out? I really doubt that it was because a 7 series owner dissed a 3 series owner because of the car being cheaper. Listen buddy, you are in NO position to figure out or tell me what my positions on subjects should be. I don't give a damn what you think of my car. You seem to young and immature to have an arguement anyways.

My beef with sdsilverm3 had nothing to do with class differences fool. We have cleared our arguements between us, and we both have agreed that the whole thing broke out because of a misunderstanding. When did I talk trash about other peoples' cars? Read the post carefully. What I said is I would not take a stock car to a car show, and it doesn't matter if it is a C, S, G or whatever class. Who the fuck are you to decide my credibilty or respect? Are you out of you freaking mind? Take a step back fool and have your facts straight before you talk shit.

Ummmm...WHAT!??? I talked shit about other people's rides? And my car is not type of awesome OMFG??? Noooo...you are breaking my heart and bringing tears to my eyes....

If it was not clear to you in my latest post, I was trying to calm things down around here and not "dig deeper"

Keep up the good work mate... My vintage benz is worth waaay more than a grain of rice. oh, and xxxyou.
You're never done kid. If you stir shit up you're going to eat it with a few grains of Uncle Ben's. Oh, and no thanks, but you are welcome to thumb yourself in that $900 vintage Benz of yours, MATE. If you do it hard enough it just might inflate the value of your car up to the size of your overinflated head.

Here's a better deal for you. I'll give you a stock AMG wheel for your car with you paying me $200 for the price difference. I'll even throw in a 50lb bag of Grade C Jasmine rice for being the stereotypical role model Mercedes-Benz owner that you are.

must you always sound like a douche? fine, you and Ling have cleared it up and I'll admit that I was mistaken and was probably lumping you with Batou...

but, I sound "young and immature"... wow, coming from the person that went on a hissy fit on this forum, can't even spell basic words like "argument," who must always put in a snide remark or backhanded compliment, and has said that he's "done" with this thread many times and yet KEEPS on posting--that says a lot. ask around, I may be slightly younger than you, but I for sure have more credibility and respect in the MB arena not to mention am more accomplished in the real world and am part of a profession that I'm not sure how many "young and immature" "kids" are in. you're the one that needs to get your facts straight.

The misunderstanding was that when Sdsilverm3 said the burnout was a stupid move, ChopTop thought Sdsilverm3 was accusing him of being stupid. It was just the act of doing that burn/peelout that Sdsilverm3 said was stupid, not the person.

This was when ChopTop got pissed and wrote so many expletives in his next reply, and that he said he expected to see more "worthy cars". It was this attitude that got this all stirred up, and combined with Batou's calling the C-class group a bunch of ricers and ChopTop's statement of seeing more "worthy" cars.

When I said it was disappointing to see those burnouts, peelouts, and donuts, I said that because it was a family event and children were all around. Add to that the fact that unless it is explicitly stated, doing those burnouts in an event that somebody else organized is disrespectful to the event organizers, attendees, and other people who are in and around the event. Did you ever ask yourself, what would you do, if something went wrong? If the car lost control and crashed into other cars? Worse, somebody got hurt? Granted, nothing happened. But are you going to risk that?

The only reason I had to reply was because whoever did that donut with the w140 drove so fast beside me and my friend while we were just having a chat around our cars. It may not have looked fast from that driver's point of view, but for somebody standing still, believe me, it was.

I have nothing against burnouts, peelouts, and donuts, etc. Just do them where and when it's safe to do so!

wow, just keeps on getting better and better. someone that's too busy typing so "fast" that they can't spell basic words and is trying to be a hardcore e-thug. I'm shaking right now... I mean, trying to intimidate someone online, wow. looks like you're a big guy sitting behind that computer of yours.

ask for me at the next meet--which I'm pretty sure you and your buddies aren't welcome or wanted at. most everyone knows who I am. I'll either bring my lowly C-Class or my M3.

karugs

I don't remember using the word "worthy" and don't feel like flipping through the past pages. Even if I did, I was very clear whit the explanation as to what I meant. And as I said, I meant as far as stock cars, and that was my PERSONAL opinion because I would not take a stock car to a meet or a show.

I do not think it is a good idea to reopen the past posts and sicuss them again.
