Engine light is on. Dealer says previous owner installed an off the shelf cat converter and need to be replaced. Any short cut to it? I like the sound, and cat converter for a C230 is about $750, plus installation.

Go to profile edit and fill up your info so we know what car you have. C230 right? I can prob install it for you the OEM cat converter. Those aftermarket high flow cat will defenitely trigger the sensor and you end up w/ check engine light which will cause your car run ugly.
