I suggest the meeting place in Griffith Park should be where near the 5 fwy is at, to the entrance where Los Feliz and Riverside Dr intersection. Which turns to Crystal Springs Dr. There are more parking at the right side once you enter. Or you can drive a bit further where you see a park on the left and a carousel. I am probably guessing, the parking lot near Los Feliz for an easy exit.
Directions just in case:
Fr: 5-North Bound - Exit Los Feliz, Turn left at light, then right on Crystal Springs Rd.
Fr: 5-South Bound - Exit Los Feliz, Stay on right lane, then right on Crystal Springs Rd.
Parking will be on right side.

Here are some pictures that I took today, since I just live 10mins from Griffith Park. I have taken 3 pictures of different parking locations in the park. Usually around 9am in the morning, there's not that much cars. I used to run from lot#1 all the way to the zoo. That's 3miles one way. Anyway...as you can see, there is still enough space at around 2pm on lot 2 and 3.
Lot#1 - Main entrance from the 5fwy onto Los Feliz
Just letting all of you guys know, there is another lot before lot2 that I didn't take picture of. So just drive through and go to the next parking lot. See you all there
Most likely I will be the first one there with another fellow MB owner. And driving my Mercedes Benz 190E EVO II AMG r/c car. LoL!
