"Cradle to Cradle" & AltWheels Festival

I think two of the best sources of information about transportation and mobility that are "eco-effective" are the book "Cradle to Cradle" by William McDonough and William Braungart (North Point Press) and the annual AltWheels Alternative-Transportation Festival in Boston and Brookline, Mass. (http://www.altwheels.org).

I also host a weekly, 30-minute radio show on hybrids and alternative-fuel vehicles. It's called "This New Car: Clean, Mean Driving Machines." It's available in MP3 format on the website of WICN/90.5 FM, the NPR affiliate serving Central New England, at http://www.wicn.org/programs/thisnewcar/schedule.htm.

I'd be interested to hear from you what you think of the "Cradle to Cradle" book, if you've read it, as well as the AltWheels Festival, if you've attended it.
