Places that come to mind with lots of restaurants and big parking lots is Weehawken, NJ with a nice view of NYC.

OK since I'm the rookie on this great forum and I'm sure there are many more new exciting newbies out there who wants to meet, we need the BW vets to help arrange this Labor Day Weekend meet. The west always have these kinda events primarily due to 365 days sunny days compare to our 90 days but hey, the sun always rises in the east...if you know what I mean...[:D]

First off, I think we can make this a general MB event, what do you guys think? I like Sunday the 5th of September because Monday is holiday anyway.

I agree with Frank to have it at Weehawken where we can definetely take some nice shots of all the MBs with NYC as the backdrop. WOW!

I know Exchange Place has a nice pier with walkway and ample square to park our trucks/ cars. I don't know if they have other event on that day. I live and work in Queens, NY so I don't know about any other event.

We can also swap items or buy and sell during the event. Dewdaltz is one of the the vets here, any other suggestion?

How do you move or share this thread to the other BW forums?

Sunday the 5th sounds good to me. I agree that the invite should be for the entire MB fleet and not just the ML's. This really sounds like it will be a fun day. From what you guys are saying the overlook of NYC will be sweet. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help in arranging this meet.

I would say Weehawken is a lot better as Exchange place is too small to accomodate a lot of cars.

Sunday is good as well.

I'll be there reppin with the w124 crew. I'll bring the benzpiece and my camera.

Maybe I could get some people from MBUSA at montevale, NJ involved. We would definitely get some airtime in a commercial spot if we got their crew out there... I'll talk to the GM at MB Manhattan if this thing goes down
