I'd like to replace my front empty license plate frame with a European plate. I think it would fill the front bumper better and look more "in place" whereas the US one looks like it doesn't quite belong...
Anyone from Europe want to ship me one of their unused plates?? [:D]
If anyone knows where I can purchase one online or locally in San Diego, please let me know.

RE: European Plates
I did not check General but...
you can go through www.bavauto.com -40 bucks
things to consider...
in germany the first letter or two is the closest large city...the second could be your name or random...the last set can be your model number or random...
some of my buddies here run their DOT number from the back matched to the front...not 100% authentic but looks like a finished statement, well rounded.
I'm thinking about doing the same. Didn't have a chance to tell the dealer not to drill the bumper[:(!] Will the police have more of a tendency to pull you over with the euro plate?

They were very responsive to my questions and sent me an update letting me know they had been received in the states (just last week) along with a pic of them.
I should be getting them shortly (hopefully this week). I'll take some pics with them on and let everyone know how they feel when I get them. If they're really nice, I plan on ordering some others. (then I'll do some sort of James Bond style where I can swap them out by pushing a button on the COMAND or something... just kidding of course [:D])
