Merparts - Port Glasgow (Scotland)

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Two brothers, Paul and Stef, that have built a business.

I have a bit of history with them over the last 4 years, they have worked on a variety of cars that I have owned and I have never been disappointed.

W201, W126, W140, W215, W210 so far. Every time the problem has been correctly diagnosed and fixed with a minimum of fuss. Not necessarily cost (as that goes with owning a quality car). They are ex-trade and have attended every known MB technology course that goes. The service is personal, friendly and engaging and from starting out with W201 Cosworth models they really offer a service that I would challenge any MB dealer to match. Dealers - if you're watching - listen and learn!

Recently I had a problem with my W215 after a period of non-use (hard winter and jump starting). Stef spent nearly two hours on my car, and also sorted a rattly heat shield that I was worried was the cats. FOC (though I am a regular customer - don't expect to turn up and get head rebuilds for free!!). What I am saying is that the customer service is superb, knowledgeable, and the guys will show you what's what on your car if it needs fixing. This sort of customer relationship is what you dream about from your dealer.

I know a few other owners that have used their services and they all speak highly. If you value your car (and remember the cheapest Merc is the one you own) then if you are in the area you should use these guys. They will not disappoint.
