The wheel could crack or break completely. At highway speeds, a break could be worse than a blow out. Imagine what could happen if one tire suddenly went flat and locked up because pieces of the wheel jammed in the brake. It might not be very probable, but it is possible. For your saftey and the safety of those around you, please use wheels of the proper load capacity.
