Michelin Super Sport VS Conti DW

Have new MB coming from factory in about 3 wks and want to mount 1 of these tire sets as I am trading in my new oem tires to the dealer. Have to make a decision. Was initially going with the Conti DW but have read rave reviews on the Michelin SS.
Appreciate any recommendations and experiences. Will be buying at local Discount Tire. Have bought several sets of wheels and tires from them with excellent results.

Probably missed your deadline but ... If you're an enthusiast driver the only choice is the Pilot Super Sport. If your car is just transportation, the Conti DW is probably good enough. I replaced the OE Bridgestones on my SL with the Michelin and found the on-center feel much better, the ride much smoother and the wet handling - well I don't notice that it's raining. BTW they come with a mileage warranty.

Yes it's a bit late now probably for the OP but I agree entirely!

Have Super Sports on my Car and there the only choice if you want the best all round performance tyre going.

Only downside is there is not a huge choice in sizes for smaller wheeled cars.

Original staggered 245/40 & 265/35 18" on my car are not catered for but the current 245/35 & 265/30 19" on AMG rims are.

The US have more sizes than the rest of the world. A friend with a GT3 discovered that a few months ago with a need for his rears (335/30-19) and a GB owner bought from one of the US Internet guys.

That might prove handy info for some of the UK members dbrown!

Any chance of a link with sizes available?

This link is what sizes we can get in the UK.
