Hi guys,
I have a 2006 C230, I live in Toronto and I need to put winter tires on it. The dealership quoted me with around 2000 dollars for mounting winter tires. I'm trying to find a better deal. Is anyone from the area that is experienced and can give me advice on where to go?
That's robbery. I presume you are running 17" if so I would check out the Bridgestone Blizzaks LM or WS 60. They come in the sizes you need for a staggered setup and run about 650.00 a set through Tirerack. Mike
That does seem a bit high. Are you wanting to run some winter tires on your stock wheels or are you thinking about purchasing a winter wheel and tire package?

I got my winter tires from Canadian Tire last season (Good Year Nordic's) and put them on the same rims. It was around $600 including mounting and balancing.
hey guys, thanks alot for your responses ive been quoted a really good price on hancock ipike tires from simplytire, are they good quality tires?
also should i get the winter rims? im not intending on keeping this car for more than 3-4 years.
The Hankook iPike W409 is a great option if you are driving consistently in deep snow. If you mainly drive on cleared roads you may want to consider running a performance winter tire.
Winter wheels are a good idea because they save you in the long run in mounting and dismounting charges.
