Jayhawk, I'm sorry to hear that. Tell us about your experience there. Where was the ball dropped?
My daughter had a minor problem w/ a tire on her car a few years ago and the guy in charge told her she had to have all of her tires replace, aligned and balanced, and they could do it all for just $1,450! She had an old Chevy Malibu and the whole car wasn't worth that at the time. It seemed to me they were just trying to rip her off! I think the company was called something else back then, but do not remember the name. Perhaps your business practices have change/improve since then, but I have advised several friends to avoid your company since that time. I really mean no disrespect, but I have to wonder if this is really a company you want us to do business w/.
I will have the installer looked into. I am not sure that they were even on our installer list a few years ago and if they have a new name the business that is there today could be an entirely new business but I will have it looked into. We do have high standards for our installers and if any of them treat you wrong. Please let us know. We need your feedback to make sure they hold them up.
I called the store. They used to be a Tire Plus and operated under the Tires Plus umbrella. They are now an independent shop and have their own set of rules, they are happy to install for us and would also like us let them know if they are not living up their customers standards. I did not mention the above situation as it was years ago but I told them that if I heard anything new, I would let them know.
