Luke,
I'm planning on upgrading my rims to one of three sizes. But I have concerns from previous bad rim experiences. I like the low profile look but I don't want to risk going to low. I regularly load my truck with equipment and I fear that I would push the maximum weight on the sidewalls. I read before that the OE tire has a load capacity of 2095 lbs. I'm willing to go to a larger rim size to have a greater Rim to Tire ratio.
Could you suggest a tire size for these rims that would ensure a safe ride and have the low profile look on my 1998 ML320? Thanks in advance.
1. 19x9
2. 18x8.5
3. 18.8
Bonus Question** What would be a nice offset?
