how fast can you go over a curb at??

If you were trying to go over a street curb, what is the maximum speed you can go ove the curb at.

I was backing up my ML(the SUV) last night and particially missed my drive way ramp. I was not going very fast (my foot was not on the gas but not on the breaks either). Did not feel anyting when I hit the curb with the back wheel. But when I break to go over the curved with my front wheel at a much lower speed, I was quite a bump. I probally when over the 4" portion of the curb

Could not see any visiable damage. Do you folks think I could cause any damage. Or am I just worry about nothing.

thanks

RE: how fast can you go over a curb at??

The answer to your question is,... it depends on what you drive,... I'm sure a monstertruck would not even feel a 4 inch curb, but a mucielago would.

In your case you should not have any damage, but the best thing to do is take your ML to a tyre specialist and get the rim & tyre checked and also rebalanced just in case.

Hope all goes well
