I would say get a leather repair kit (shoe one will do) follow directions on box and before the hardener sets use a safety pin to poke the holes for the Vents so the don't get plugged. then dye and blend and you should be good to go.
There are lots of leather repair kits out there as revealed by a simple yahoo search, but if your not a do-it-yourself-er, another search turned up these guys:
They seem to have lots of locations throughout the country, but I don't know if there's one near you since you have not filled out your profile with location, etc.
Leatherique is another very reputable company that deals with leather cleaners and restorers that I have used for several years. Not sure about repairs for rips/tears, etc., but they are very helpful over the phone and can be reached here:
I've always had trouble reaching the Leatherique folks on the phone...but their email response time has always been pretty good for me. Business must be brisk!
