Hi, just taken delivery of my CLK 280 Cabriolet in Fire Opal Red, the car is garaged at home and also under a carport at work, but I know keeping red looking good is a challenge. The dealer said that Australian and South African cars are given "extra" UV coatings to European ones to assist with fading in the sun, not sure if this is exactly true (i'm sure someone here will comment) but what would you all suggest I use to clean and polish it with to keep it in good order. Also what do you use to clean the inside, it has Walnut Burr trim and the dark leather seats, liked the look of the light coloured ones but saw a demo and the seat belts that were cream were absolutely filthy and it had only done 20,000 klm, so glad mine has the dark interior. Do you use anything special on the fabric roof to clean it as well? Thanks for all your help.
