Easiest Way to Make Dull Paint Shine?

Greetings all,

I have a 190E and the paint and clear coat is starting to look pretty rough. Can anybody share some tips on the best way to get some shine back into the paint? I've never detailed the paint on my car, so complete noob here. Just need a simple way to get some life back into the pain.

Thanks!

I agree with the responder above; but not certain what a chemical cleaner might be. I personally use products from Car Care, Detail Supplies, Garage Organization, Car Accessories - Griot's Garage 800-345-5789 and fine their polish and sealant awesome.

Einszett Paint Polish applied by hand, followed by Einszett Glanz Wax after a good washing and clay session, works great on bring back old MB paint from the dead without having to use specialized equipment, IMO.

Optimum Poli-Seal is another good product for old paint. It removes oxidation and fills small imperfections while still leaving a very durable protective coating and a great shine all in a one-step process.
