Problem: The passenger door handle had the vinyl cover peeling. See pic below.

To fix this i needed to remove the inner door cover. Remove the screws that are holding the cover onto the door frame. There is a hidden screw under the SRS airbag tag. Also remove the screw near the locking mechanism and the plastic cover near the door opener.

After removing that i needed to pull the press clips apart by pulling the door cover away from the frame. I don’t pull too hard as the top part of the cover is still attached to the window area. Also there are two wires and a cable that needs to be loosened.
The press plug looks as follows. There are a few running around the perimeter of the door cover. The pic shows the inside of the door cover and one of the plugs. (Dont remove the cover yet, there are still other clips and some cables that need to be attended to. This pic is just to show the plastic press plugs)

These white plugs sometimes break away from the door cover as they are only glued onto the cover. I needed to glue one as it did break off the cover while i was trying to seperate it from the frame. I used epoxy glue to fasten it back to the door cover.
I now needed to unclip the top part of the door from the frame. There are steel clips along the path of the top cover.

There are two cables that need to be disconnected, the audio cable for the woofer and the courtesy light for the bottom of the door. Also disconnect the cable for the door un-locker.
Under the cover it looks as follows: The purple arrows show the position of the clips while the yellow arrows show the four screws that were removed

Unscrew the handle from the door cover. There are three screws.
