Just a simple cure for the dull faded rear plastic windows on the soft top. Put some clean automatic transmission fluid on a rag and wipe on those dull white looking plastic windows. Wipe off with another clean rag. This is your easy way to be able to see through the rear windows again. Just a trick my dad used 30 years ago on a 57 Chevy convertible and it still works today on my Sl500.

You are utilizing the detergents in the trans fluid to clean the plastic. There are more modern technology products specifically formulated for this type of use.

As materials and production methods that are used change; we need to adapt our product usage and application methodologies to change with them

All I know is it works and can see right though the plastic window. I am sure there are new products out there. Just tryin to help people save a buck than buy costly $$ cleaners made just for cleaning plastic windows.
