Its called "vintage" wax.. comes in a expencive looking see through cube.. and its refilible for life. 2000$, do a search...
"Vintage" is a different wax again... Think in the Zymol range, it goes, from bottom to up.. Vintage, Royale, Solaris... With Solaris being the top of the range and I've heard rumours its way more expensive than Royale which is already 10k a tub. I heard rumours of 30k a tub for Solaris, which could be completely off base..but thats what I heard
No, not correct. There is a new product from P21S:
Made with 100% pure carnauba wax!
P21S 100% Carnauba Wax is P21S’s first car wax made with only pure carnauba wax. No beeswax or paraffin wax – just true Brazilian carnauba. You’ll see the same deep reflections and shine you’ve come to expect from P21S wax with an even more impressive wet look. Your vehicle will ripple with gloss under a coat of P21S 100% Carnauba Wax!
The only wax used in the product is Carnauba (there are other products used i.e. solvents / oils to soften the wax)but no other waxes, hence 100% Carnauba wax.
Factual, but misleading IMO. It falls somewhere along these choices;
I'd go for (d)
a) Factual information = neither theory or subjective opinion
b) Marketing Hype = Blurring the distinction between science and fiction
c) Opinion = Not necessarily fact or fiction but usually highly subjective
d) Advertised Claims= Nothing more than advertising copy of dubious functional validity.
Have you guys lost your mind??? $1000, $2000, $10,000
I admit I have not experienced the high dollar carnauba but from the outside looking in it seems like alot of money for something so simple. I've only owned 2 Benz so I'm a rookie in this group but I have tried alot of different products over the years. Other than different application efforts applying these, there is really very little difference in the shine if you're working on perfect paint(which it sounds like you are). For example the Turtle Wax Ice, Rain Dance, Mothers, McGuuires, Liquid Glass, etc... will put a wet like gloss on anything!

Pure Carnuba is so expensive because it costs so much to produce and retrieve. it only grow well in south American areas close to the equator. it makes sense for the carnuba plant to produce this to protect itself. It has natural qualities that protect well agains the elements.
Personally, I'm happy with a product that contains at least some #1 yellow carnuba in it. I don't need to be 100%. but it does need to be #1 yellow
trying to own the absolute purist Carnuba wax on the market is overkill for anybody making less than $500,000 a year.
Dont let the term "100% pure carnauba wax" mislead you. Carnauba wax, which is derived from the leaves of carnauba palm trees, is, in its pure form, as hard as a rock. It is native ONLY to northeastern Brazil. The harvested yellow/brown flakes which contain the carnauba wax must be beaten to loosen the wax then refined and bleached. It is in this form that carnauba resembles a rock hard brick.
There is NO wax on the market which is 100% pure carnauba wax. When they say "100% pure carnauba" what they really mean is that the 2 or 3% carnauba that their product contains is pure, but the product in its entirety contains only a very small amount of this wax.

as for zymol and turtle wax. zymol sold parts of its licsence to turtle wax. the stuff you find at canadian tire (the cleaner wax) is not even on zymols web site. i have been using zymol concours for a while. it really is one of the best out there, i have also used zaino. zymol concours is about 175$ wich is not to bad considering how many times you can do your car with one jar. if you dont want to spend that much, try zymol carbon, its about 50$ a jar. i love my cars, my 280c and my 300amg. its a little sacrifice. by the way jason from adams if your reading this, my buddy uses your products. told me that bang for the buck your products are very good.

Well if it's Carnauba you want then why not "p21s 100% carnauba" for $49?
If the Carnauba is that far superior then I gotta try it! Is this what you recommend for the 300SDL?

Read my earlier post. NOTHING out there is "100% carnauba". The wax that it contains may be 100% pure carnauba but not 100% of the can is made up of carnauba. The balance of the product is made up of solvents, oils and other compounds to soften the carnauba enough for you to use.
