You can put a metal wax on it, Harley dealers have that sort of stuff, probably Pep Boys, makes your polishing last longer. I've seen people clearcoat raw aluminum on motorcycles. It does hold up for a long time but if you ever do get a scratch you can't buff it out without re-coating the wheels so you'll get a bunch of chips and scratches making it not look so good. For about the same cost as having them professionally coated, have them chromed, that will last a long time.
Where can i get them chromed and for how much? I'm in miami Fl.
