When you're rewaxing in 6-9-12 months of regular driving (doesn't apply to your garage-queens) then you can use their guarantee to probably get a free bottle, not a refund, and they'll ship the bottle for $10 or some other disgusting price.
Not that I'm cynical.
Hey, DM, be a test bunny: wash and clay your car, then apply this stuff. I use four-star and get a good 6 months minimum, the base work goes well over a year. See how you do.

Wow!! and for only $70 (on sale, if you hurry, for $50) you get enough for one application but it does have a foam applicator pad. If your car is more than a year old you must get the $97 version. But think, if you start when your car is new you will only have to wax it 3 times by the time it is 15 years old. It must repel tree sap, acid rain, road oil (probably rocks too). Don't need a bulletproof W140 if you use this stuff.
I admit I never used it but, for those who buy it, I have a little propeller that you put in your air intake that might double your mileage. and only $250 on sale. LOL
If using Five Star, I would recommend first prepping the finish with SNAKE OIL.

Actually it is possible for a sealant to last several years.
I have a beta sample of a product that I applied to the hood of a clients Maserati 3 years ago and it's still on the hood today. Its been washed countless times, never been re-waxed, its been washed by the dealer and its also been in the body shop on two occasions since I first applied it but every time I wash it I can see exactly where I applied the product and where I didn't.
Again that's 3 years ago so it's possible for a sealant to last years.

I'm raising the B.S. Flag on this one.
We forget that throughout the year many contaminants attack our vehicle.
Bird shit, tree sap, pollen, road tar, highway bugs, mud, salt, rocks, ocean air etc.
This needs to be regularly removed. At times that requires heavy cleaning. At times that cleaning removes our waxes, sealants etc. I am real OK with that.
I enjoy "cleaning her up". But a 5 year? or lifetime protection? Come on THINK about that!

I never used 5 Star but alot of my clients with new cars want Xzilon applied. I average about 4 to 5 cars a month with a minimum $600 charge. Seems to hold up well. I apllied this product just last week on this Benz S AMG V12
