Not to mention, pollutes your vinyl with silicones. There are many articles written on the detrimental effects to the plasticizers in vinyl from silicones.

How something looks in the short term is not really the most imporant. What matters is keeping things in good condition so they last.

Use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It will not harm the dash and has UV blockers.
