Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Clay Bar - Best Way to Use

Ok ladies and germs, I purchased and used Ice Liquid Clay Bar a couple of weeks ago and used to it. I was semi pleased with the results, but truely felt it could have applicate and remove better. So this weekend I wanted to test the method and technology boasted by Ice Liquid Clay Bar. And I did it with over amazing results. Here are the steps

**********TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK**********

I read the instructions and followed them to a T on previous efforts. OK results.
This weekend though, I tossed the intructions out the window and went with my gut feeling.

I washed the car down with regular car wash soap, not Ajax, because I used Ajax last week no need to use it again.

While the car was wet after wash away all the soap, I poored the liquid (after shaking bottle real good) on to the applicator it comes with and proceeded to clay the car. In an up and down motion, I then took a note from wet sanding and continued to apply drops of the liquid to the body of the car and not the applicator. Keep in mind all the while the car was wet. I then proceeded to do the entire car in this method and WOW it worked.

After I got the results I wanted I washed the white residue right off with ease.

I them applied a nice layer of NXT and wam. It truely did clean the car real well. Good stuff and better then great results with method I used.

What did the origional instructions say? Whenever I clay my car I also spray the lubricator on the body and not on the clay bar. However, I clay my car dry, not wet.

I dont have any pics at the moment, but it does work great. Ice Liquid Clay Bar and a convestional Clay Bar Kit are different from each other in a lot of ways. Seeing that Ice Liquid Clay Bar is a newer product and method of claying I wanted to give it a go.

When I used the mothers clay kit, I had to wash, dry and clay and then wipe down. I used an actual clay bar. The method and process worked great but it does take longer because you have an added step, the drying prior to use.

When I decided to give Ice Liquid Clay Bar a go I know I could elimanate the drying step and go straight to the claying process while teh car was wet.

With the proper up and down motion and have had the car fully wet it worked even better "for my personal experience" then the actual clay bar method. I would not do this in direct sunlight, and I kept pooring the liquid on to the car untill I was happy with the smoothness of each section. Ice Liquid Clay Bar kit, does not use an actual clay bar, but it uses a abrasive blue hand applicator and two types of liquid in a bottle that once shaken merge together to form a light blue substance. Its good stuff, if I ever decide to purchase a digi cam I will post pics of the cars I detail.
