What my buddy in Florida uses for Love Bugs is this stuff you wax on you bumper that provides a coating that washes off next rain and takes the love bugs with it. Seach the detailing forums. Here's what found on google that does the same thing but I don't know if it's the same as he uses - Diamondite Bug Blocker is the only product that provides an easy on easy off coating which shields impacted flying insect residue away from vehicle

What to bikers do, they must surely eat love bugs during the season?

Buellwinkle: yeah I'm a Biker too and Yes those Love bugs are a menace.
Heck; bugs are; road trash, sand, oils, what-have-you.
Its part of being out in the open.
Me? I wash all my clothes then wash my bike in hot water with Meguiars Car Wash with paint Conditioners.
One wash in the hot water
second wash with cold clean water with micro fiber towel

I use Invisible Glass from Stoner, two micro fibers. Does the trick all the time. I do windows in and out. It takes a little because I get all that nasty film right off. Some times I think I have my windows rolled down but I then remembered I used I.G..

My dad had to put a windshield on because of the bugs. That and rocks that fly up from the semis here.
