How to restore slightly worn/fading driver's seat?

the driver's seat on my car definitely looks more "aged" than the passenger's. it's not trashed but not as nice as the other one.. is there a way to make the seat as much as like new again? it's tough to apply leather conditioners b/c these E55 seats have perforations everywhere. i carefully tried applying some leather cleaner/conditioner in one but no difference at all.

I use Meg's Gold Glass Cleaner/Conditioner spray. I spray it on a cloth and then rub it in. It's clear so you don't have to worry about the holes and by not spraying the leather directly, very little will work it's way in there. The problem with AMG napa leather is it's very soft and very nice when new but ages much quicker than than the harder cheap leather they give us mortals. If you are so inclined, there are leather specialist/upholsterers that can fill in any deep creases with fillers, sand the leather down and dye it again to make it look like new. One of my neighbors had it done on his car and it looked good. Finding the right artist that does a good job is the hard part. If you are lucky, maybe one of the local dealers used car dept (doesn't have to be MB) can refer you to somebody as they get this done for used cars.

Pro, get yourself Leatherique (2 parts) and wait for a warm day ! Let the stuff sit on the leather for a number of hours in the hot sun, cover seats with plastic. The stuff does work....follow their directions.

Pro tip for cleaning/conditioning of perforated [pin hole] type leather seats.

Do not spray or apply product directly onto the pin holes – you will block them with product and then it is a pain to remove this product from each and every pin hole. Instead spend $7 bucks and pickup the leather wipes which work well on the perforated areas.

I have used cleaner, conditioner and color from Color Plus on my 380SE and Sl500. They can match color perfectly and it is easy ato apply with great results. I just redid my drivers seat on the Sl500 because the color had rubbed off agian due to seat belt rubbing side bolster. Look's new. I have naot had to use any of their filler yet for cracks, etc but this too is not a hard thing to do with great results.
