Griot's Detailing handbook!! Online version...

DetailersHB_BW.pdf

(Thanks to Brass Chocolatier for his contribution to the updated pdf file. Thanks!)

Attention all detail nuts:

We now have access to this 72 page excellent detailing bible written by Richard Griot of Griot's Garage!

What is covered? Everything!! Yes, he plugs his products, (which are great by the way), but the concepts and explanations are top notch, a must read! He sells this in his catalog for $12.99, but we have their permission for our forum to use the online (pdf) version above.

Just in time for Spring cleaning.......Enjoy!

Use it as you need to - as a reference for all detailing areas and products!! Their catalog is very interesting and informative as well. Hope it is useful...I thought I was pretty knowledgable, but I learned a few things regarding technique and products - even after entering several cars in shows over the years.

Glad it was of help. The actual small handbook is a handy resource and a great read but it costs $13.00! The free download is not quite as handy.

I can't get that link to work, but I have a Detailer's Handbook for Perfectionists (5th edition) that is very useful. Maybe it's the same, but if anyone else can't access it here's mine: http://www.griotsgarage.com/pdfs/Det...bar=1&zoom=125

The first link opens to the first page of the book, and the second link opens to page 54 of 73. But, whatever works for you! A PDF file on Acrobat is a little hard to navigate!
