Detailing

I am interested in purchasing a buffer for my car. I have never buffed a car before so I need something that an amature can use with good results.

Your recommendations are greatly appreciated

RE: Detailing

If you are a beginner, I would stick with a random orbital instead of a rotary. A very good RO buffer is the Porter Cable 7424 that you can pick up at Lowes or Home Depot for under $120. The pads that come with the PC are useless so get a set of good pads from someplace like properautocare.com

Check out the Cyclo Orbital Polisher. Easy to use and great results. See topoftheline. All you need is a light cut swirl remover, a sealer (klasse AIO)then a nice carnuba (pinnacle souveran)and you will be amazed.
