1989 560-SEL How do I shine the Mags "HELP"

I just cannot get them to shine,I called the dealer and it will cost 100$ a rim to have a guy clean them .

I am new to Mercedes and will be only showing this one at car shows starting next year its in exc condition,been in the garage for 20 yrs.

The rims look bad,they need a deep cleaning,and the interior does to.Anyone know how to clean the interior ?? I am not sure if its leater or not,it seems to be vinl,but I am not sure.
