Thumbs up Proof of Global Warming

It was 65F in Chicago today. Couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to do so I put a coat of wax on my car. I used Klasse All in One followed by Meguiar’s NXT Generation Speed Detailer to help remove the Klasse.

Zymol Shine

I use the Zymol carbon wax on my obsidian black SLK. This was taken after a wipe over with their Field Glaze.

My first car, she's gone but not forgotten (awaiting arrival of a W203). Didn't even wax her before taking this shot.

I've had the car for about 8 weeks...I put a coat of Meguiars polish and a coat of Meguiars cleaner wax the day after I bought it. Yesterday I used some Meguiars Gold Class, here's how it looks.

The fintail received a coat of Meguiars cleaner wax about 7 months ago...but it's lucky to be driven twice a month, so it holds up pretty well.

Try cilajet & cilajet wet

Being a professional detailer in LA, I detail high-profile peoples cars....I used to be a big fan of Auto Glym....However, when someone asked me to try cilajet & cilajet wet....I have never seen a more incredible product. The wet product takes out all the sun oxidation & webbing & even fills bird stains. The car truly looks wet! Than the cilajet sealant seals it all....now I don't use any wax on their cars....cilajet is an epoxy based formula that actually seals & doesn't wear off...It's not wax! It has been used in the aerospace industry for over 10 years....it's now launching in the auto industry. It truly maintains the shine...Now when I show up to detail their cars....my detailing time has been cut because the car stays cleaner longer & I don't have to wax each time....cilajet never wears off....

1971 300 Sel 3.5

Did a 4 step buff with rotary:

Hi temps Heavy Cut Compound
Hi temps Heavy cut Leveler
Meguiars Dual Action Cleaner Polish
3M Finnesse-It
Final wax with P21 wax.

Total time about 3 hours. The paint was a lacquar finish completely repainted in 1988. the paint was full of wash scratches and swirls before the transformation. I sold this car last year and I do miss her !!!
