When my wheels get kerbed (touch would that this doesnt happen for the CLS![:)]) i take my wheels to this guy up in Aberdeen who makes my wheels look brand new. It must be a special lacquer or something.

I got a question for you. I've noticed that during your waxing procedure that you used an automatic buffer. Since the weather is becoming warmer, Im going to give my car its' first car wash. And I wanted to use an automatic buffer, but have heard that if you dont know how to use one, you could cause massive swirl marks, and other otrocites. So my question is that is this true? And that what kind of buffer should I purchase? Thanks in advance.
Use a Random Buffer. One that is extremely popular is a Porter Cable. THe Porter Cable 7336 is 109.00 at your local Lowes and is pretty much fool proof causing no swirls.
Hi benzitoML350, I used the 7336SP Model from PorterCable, and it is really easy to use, not to mention that it has a powerful motor that produces random (meaning swirl-free) action. I bought mine from Lowes and it was $139, but it is a good investment. Good luck, and just be sure that you are "free" for most of the day because it is reaaally time-consuming. However, the results are very worthwhile!
