Has anybody had any experiences using Mercedes Cleaning products from the dealer. I am going to be cleaning my moms car soon and it recomends them in the owners manual. I have a ford taurus as well and the Ford Motorcraft cleaning products are great.
The Mercedes-Benz products are manufactured by Meguiar's. I've read that some people think the formulation in the MB versions is slightly different to the off-the-shelf Meguiar's. However, I have used them, and they all look, feel, smell, and work the same to me.
IMHO:
Meguiar's products are very good but not necesary the best in the market. I just keep using the Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo but use products from other manufacturers for different purposes.

1Z Tar and insect precleaner (pre-wash)
Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo (wash)
P21S Paintwork Cleaner (pre-wax)
P21S Wax
Only one i happen to like from oem/meguiars is the interior spray they have. makes it nice and clean along with the original non shiny finish which i happen to likecompared to all shiny.
