RE: add on wood trim

oh i thought you started already... well my wood on my car looks like its made out of plastic... does your old one look like that? and it the new one actual good wood? ( teehee ) do you want pictures of my wood? my wood seems to look different.. is there a way to only replace the center console wood? and do you know of the crome surround the gearshifting??? is that just taped onto the wood? oh well . i wish you the best of luck with that

RE: add on wood trim

inkprksoldier; well i have had other projects illuminated s.s. door sills im working on. on my 1988 124 yhe zabrono (miss spell check) wood finish can look like plastic. but you need that many coats for protection. yes the center consel can be removed and sent off for refinishing. the crome peace i dont know about. but the w124 forum addresses that issue. when i learn the picture process ill enclose pictures

ive been thinking of illuminated door sills too..where do you hook it up for the sills to get power?? you buy from ebay? and to post pictures here, type you message then check "Attach a file after posting" then click preview and you should be taken to a site where you upload pictures to here
