The leather is turning loose on the door/window post coloums. The liner is loose in the roof ( not that loose but will require maintance in the future.)
The carpet throughout is faded and needs replacement.
The floor mats have been there for 20 years and are deplorable.
I am attempting to restore this 1984 300SD, which I purchased over a year ago, I overpaid ($6,500) for this antique.
I have replaced the air conditioner unit at about 1 grand for everything.
I have replced fuel filters,still have poor idle. Tires, (Michs " improved ride a great deal". Cost $425.)
Mechanic says we need new fuel pump and injectors and a very high cost. Any Suggestions?
