Meguiar's is a good wax but tends to hide your swirl marks rathere than eleminate them. Use a good pre-wax or cleaner in an up and down motion about once every 6 months and follow it with a good quality wax. You may wax every 4 to 6 weeks and only have to pre-wax or clean the paint once every six months. I got this info from a show held by A and M Motor Sport about car care for Mercedes-Benz and BMW's . They showed dark colors with swirls and how to get rid of them. The results were fantastic.Try their web site I have no ties to them but being a good customer they are at www.aandmmotorsport.com

While Gold Class tends to leave a nice glossy finish, I have found it to not last to long, and be loaded with fillers. I have had much better longevity out of their #26 high tech yellow wax, as far as a cheap readily available wax, its pretty good.
P21S wax and P21S Gloss Enhancing Paintwork Cleanser is a great combo, and if you have a cycle shop close by, they may carry S100, the motorcycle version of P21s, but cheaper. (S100 is actually being discontinued, so get it while you can)

If you like waxing often, I would find a good pure wax that you like, that way with every coat you add, it will layer. From what I understand, Gold Class has a mild cleaning ability which makes it unlayerable.
