Bob Williams

I too have dealt with Bob Williams. Kevin, owner, and Dave are both good guys. General repairs and all things wheels, rims and rubber.

Hello

Glad to see some Londoners here.

I just got a 07 GL450 from the US and bought extended warranty from LyndonFS/Advantage program.

Gave a call to the London MB dealer that I would like to setup regular maintanence with them - and I got a rude reply that they cannot support or provide the same level of service to US vehicles.

I will definately checkout Bob Williams. Does anyone have experience with the MB service shop in London ? (Pardon me -- it is my first Benz and have no idea what I am in for re maintanence costs. I have a new Cadillac SRX too - and I have enjoyed great service from the dealer and service shop.

Would love to connect with some Londoner's experience.

Take care

Thanks Shaun

I believe the London dealership is a Mercedes Canada operated shop thus the attitude of 'employees'. I would think a private/franchised dealer wouldn't want to do that. After all they make most of their profit in maintanence and parts.

I do need to establish a relationship with a Mercedes shop (for questions, support, maintanence, etc.) - I am willing to pay for the services - but don't want to be treated like shit (especially after paying) just because they are the only dealership in town.

.. so much so for the recession and global warming -- we don't see either here in London !

:-)

One of our felow benzworld members has had a lot of luck with the MB dealer in Barrie, I will be meeting the service rep sometime through the summer as finding parts for my car is very difficult (european model), supposedly they have a cataloge for the european cars and us spec cars and are more than happy to service them.

Hope this helps.

Just an FYI....I just bought my MB in the past few months and had many questions that I couldn't seem to figure out from the manual so I went to our local dealer here in Windsor. I got a great reception from all the staff to the service guy. I had no idea what to expect having never owned an MB before and having not bought the car there. I was pleasantly surprised. They actually told me they have customers from London that will come to Windsor to there shop to have there cars serviced because of the bad treatment in London. here is the dealer I saw..................

Although they don't specialize in Mercedes the shop I use is William's Downtown Automotive on Ann Street. BTW they also recommended Peter Klein on York Street.
