Yes, I was referring to Walter from Euro Class Motors. I second everything you say. Very knowledgeable and honest guy. And he has a smoke machine too.

Auto Folks in Langley

I have been taking my 99 CLK320 and 00 E320 to Shiraz for the past 5 years. The guy is straight, knowlegable and gets it right the first time.
He helps me with the diagnosis when I am stuck. I have had an intermittent fault code on the CLK and instead of throwing parts and dollars at the issue he reccomended leaving the problem be and resetting the code when it comes on which is about once evry 4 months. (The fault code is non critical.)

Ron started working on my car as a dealer service rep in 1988 when I purchased my new 88 BMW 235i Cab. In 1993 he left the dealership and started his own shop and I followed him over. I am in his hands once again as of March of 2008 when I purchased my 73 450SL. You won't find a better shop than this anywhere in the valley. Reasonable shop rates as well.

With a staff of 6 highly trained technicians your needs will be attended to in a reasonable time, and if you have a more vintage vehicle such as mine, he will go out of his way to put someone on the car that has familiarity with it. Parts are seldom a problem due to his extensive resources in Canada, the US and Germany and in some cases depending on vintage he has sources for good quality used parts (sometimes it just can't be done any other way).

I give him a 5 Star rating!

Loren
I would not recommend Valley Eurotec now, Ron has retired and Mick is the new owner. They stated my rear brakes were at 10% but when another shop changed them they were really 50%

The also used a air gun to put on the wheels without using a torque wrench.

They quoted another guy I met $3000 to change the coil packs on his 02 Porsche 911. He had them changed at another shop for under $900.

Stay away unless you like Dealer pricing with mediocre work.

Hey can anybody recommend a shop to get an A3 service (basically an oil change) for a '11 C250 in the Surrey/Langley area? I would be willing to go to Vancouver/Burnaby/Richmond if the service and price is better.

Anybody have experience with Auto Folks in Langley? Looking to get a simple oil change and he seems to have the best price, <$200.

Auto Folks has some horror stories out there, watch yourself.

Your best bet for proper service is Euro Class Motors in Langley.

Other great options are Milo's in Burnaby and Henneken in Vancouver.

Thanks for the heads up, I thought his price was too good to be true.

I'll be calling Milo's and Henneken tomorrow to get quotes.
