I have seen a few of these on Craigslist lately... Are all w219 preloaded with telephone and the only thing keeping it from operating is this module or ? It looks like an earpice, but its a "Mercedes Benz OEM bluetooth adaptor. Plugs into your phone cradle in the center console. This adapter will fit in most Mercedes benz models."
This has been the center of lawsuits for MB. Often it says the car is "pre-wired" for a phone. This means absolutely nothing other then $2 of wire in the car. Your car has to have the MHI/UHI adapter installed (in the trunk for most Classes) and the connection as pictured on our site, in the armrest. IF that is true, then you can use the limited MB bluetooth adapter, or the fully compatible with ALL phones Viseeo
Who can explain the whole bluetooth thing for us newbies. I have a 2006 CLS and I have no idea if it's prewired for a phone or not. How do I tell. I bought this as a CPO off a lease and it appears the first owner never added this or Sat radio. I want both, but wish to educate myself. Everything I read is confusing.
Mercedes cls 500 Bluetooth Adapter and UHI adapter, Help
I have mercedes cls 500 2006 in canada, I want to buy that bloetooth adapter but my car doesnt have UHI phone adapter installed. But when i called mercedes canada they told me that my car is prewired for phone system. When i opend arm rest cover there is no phone adapter but when i open further the cover i can see plug for phone adapter. So i was thinking if i buy that UHI phone adapter and bluetooth adapter this might work,
I was wondering if any of you guys tried the same thing before and did it work or not.
please replay or send me quick email marijan_d@yahoo.com, thanks
