Hi, I hope this finds you all well. I posted this on another sub forum of this site but I thought I would repost here to see if anyone can help. I'm about to do a wheel swap on an 03 cl600 Renn Tech. The guy has a set of 20" brabus replicas that are 8"x20 front and 9.5x20 rear with a 40 offset. He had them on a s500 I think they should fit but as we know with the valve block failure ever eminent I need to be sure they will fit. Also available are a set of 19" Brabus replicas 8.5 and 9.5 with a 37 offset, I just got back from trying the 19's on the rear and they stick out to flush with the fender but that was just the bare rim no tire and no load on the suspension. Would the camber tilt the rim out on that side with it raised off the ground on the stock jack? See attachments for photos of the 19x9.5 rim with 37 offset mounted on the car. Decisions, Decisions any help from the forum would be greatly appreciated. Stockers are the 18x8 six hole Maybach type with a 44 offset. I'm buying used replicas because I live in San Francisco and this place is murder on wheels with tight parallel parking and my stockers are in great shape and make wonderful winter tire wheels. Any suggestions on a good larger rotor brake system?
Thanks for any replies.
