I wonder if that's whats happened to my '02 CL500.
We've had a hard winter in Scotland and it didn't get driven too much, at one stage it was left for nearly two weeks as a result of too much snow. I had to jump start it using my wife's car, as the battery barely had enough to turn the starter.
Since then, it's been fine, but now it seems it's totally dead. I drove it less than 3 days ago, then when going out to it yesterday, I can't even operate the central locking. The turn signals flashed once, faintly, then quit. I used the mechanical key to get in, put the fob in the ignition to cancel the alarm, and tried to start it. Nothing.
Do you think my battery's just decided to fail, or is there something more sinister going on e.g. something left on completely draining it? I always check it and the lights weren't on, nor the COMAND.
I'm going to get a new battery and start from there, although I'm concerned that the same thing may happen. What do you think?
