As stated in the title both multi Contor seats don't work in my 2003 CLK 55. The passenger side has one of the air tubes broken so there's a hissing sound upon starting the car (not sure if this makes a difference). Checked both fuses in the trunk 13 and 19 with no luck. Thanks guys
Ok so because one nipple on the passenger side broke the whole system won't work?
And thanks again btw!
One more thing do u mind me PMing u for help about my seat warmer? Or should I make a ANOTHER thread? Lol
Anybody know where to get the l shaped vacuum line that goes into the front of the seat?
Mercedes wanted $50! Because I had to buy the line as well! Ridiculous!
So it was the passenger side air hose that was broken, and when you fixed it, now only the driver's side works? Both seats share the same lines. The pump is located int he trunk. If one side works, then the pump is working and the vacuum (actually "pressure") hoses are intact. I would check the hoses on the passenger side for any kinks or blockage. Like I said earlier, a leaking hose will prevent either side from working.
Ya the passenger side actually had two broken hoses one on the switch itself and then I guess it's the "main line" comin in that plugs in the seat. I super glued that L shaped vacuum line going to the seat. And seemed to fix it. But still no pass side. Any body know where to get that L shaped vacuum line from besides mercedes? They want $50 for that tiny vacuum line fitting and some hose, absolutely insane.
