where's the fuse box???

Hi all, i'm a new user of this forum.

I have a 2008 CLK 320 CDI Someone could explain to me where's the fuse box in the engine compartment???

I know it's a really stupid question but i can't find it...

Up at the firewall (bulkhead) on the driver's side you will see a splash panel held by 2 plastic fasteners. Turn these 90 deg. and remove the panel.

Underneath you will see:

a) reservoir for the braking fluid
b) engine bay fusebox, under a latched cover.

Inside, it looks a bit of a mess, like this:

note: my car is RHD so the fusebox is on the other side to US model CLKs.

Thank you very much keyhole, I will take a look for it today.

What a mess in there!!!

I'm looking for fuse #64 because i have changed Comand with a Kenwood DNX7200 and i'd like to re-enable clock/date menu to set it at the right time.

should i unscrew the two bolts to open it?

hi there is also a sam box in the back in the trunk and it also has fuses in them

Yes, your f64 is in there. Bottom left in my pic, i think. 10A, red.

Wow! Is that a W209? .... or a W208?

Anyway, it looks like that's the only way in to that box. Mine (2004 CLK) has quick-release clips.
