Just bought a 2008 clk350 convertible. Does anyone know what the button in the back seat on the side paneling is? The button is on both sides and is located directly behind the front seat belt slide near the top just under the windows. It is a small round button and doesn't appear to do anything. The power window control is at the bottom, know it doesn't have anything to do with the windows. HELP
I believe that what you're describing as "buttons" are actually holes into which the rear wind screen male connectors slide. If the wind screen didn't come with your car, talk to your dealer and he can get one for you. It's well worth the money as it keeps the wind from flowing forward and hitting you on the back of your head. From what I've seen with my Cab, with the windows down, the wind screen will stay up until about 75 or 80 MPH.
