I have a 2004 clk320 and I need to know if the wheel width is the same on the front and rear? I am looking to buy a new set of tires and I want to be able to rotate them so I need to know if one size tire will fit all the way around on the factory wheels or if I need to buy new wheels or if anyone sells spacers that would allow me to accomplish this.
The front wheels needed 1/4" spacers because they started rubbing on turns. So i would say if you want to have the same size wheel all around, go with 8.5 max. this way you can use small spacers on the front, and your rear will look good too.
Pics of my setup if you want to check take a look.
I know this is an ancient thread but for what its worth, in case someone runs across this thread looking for this info. If you keep stock sizes you will not be able to rotate your tires. Stock is staggered.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
