2002 CLK 430 Oil Change Valvoline Sync?

Going to get her oil changed this weekend. Should I search out the Mobil1 or is Valvoline Syn OK?

What weight oil do I want to use if this is going to be the last change before she goes in storage for the winter (in about 2 months).

JFWIW, the search tool will find you answers to about 90% of the questions you'll have.

The list of approved oils is here: Mercedes-Benz Engine Oil Recommendations (this probably makes the 106th time it's been posted in the forum...) and while Valvoline appears on the list, you'll have a hard time finding it.

So if you want to run spec oil, you're pretty much limited to seeking out the Mobil1 0W40, it's the easiest to find in the states. It's fine whether you're driving or parking.

Thanks & Sorry for the repeat

I have a Valvoline shop near me and did go search .. after I posted. Sorry . newbie enthusiasm! I am going to call and make sure they have the Valvoline Full Synthetic 5w-40 ... as that is what my search revealed.

Thanks again!
